Refund Policy

Effective Date: 1 Jan, 2025

Jay Equipment & System Pvt. Ltd. (“JESPL”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to ensuring customer satisfaction with every purchase. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds will be processed for products purchased via our website www.jayequipment.com or through direct orders.

Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:

  • Damaged or Defective Products: If there is any damaged during transit or has a manufacturing defect.

  • Incorrect Product Delivered: If you receive a product different from what was ordered. Refund will be processed within 10 to 14 days after receipt of product at JESPL warehouse/factory.  

  • Order Cancellation: If you cancel your order within 24 hours or as per the cancellation terms.

  • Teams it Damage : Refunds are not eligible if the product is damaged in transit.

Note: Custom-built, made-to-order, or specially configured products are not eligible for refunds.

Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Notify Us: Contact us within 24 hours of placing the order at care@shop.jayequipment.com or call +91-9146054222 / 23 / 24.

  2. Provide Details: Include your order number, product details, reason for the refund request, and supporting evidence.

  3. Return Authorization: Our team will review your request and, if eligible, provide instructions for returning the product.

Inspection & Approval

  • Upon receipt of the returned product, our Quality Control team will inspect the item.

  • Refunds will be approved only if the product is unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by all original documents and accessories.

  • If the claim is valid, we will process your refund as per Section 4.

Refund Method & Timeline

  • Refund Method: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method (bank transfer, credit card, etc.) or as store credit, as per your preference.

  • Timeline: Approved refunds will be processed within 7-14 working days from the date of approval.

  • Notification: You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.

Shipping Charges

  • Refund of Shipping Charges: Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, except in cases where the product is different from what was ordered.

  • Return Shipping: For eligible refunds, return shipping costs will be borne by JESPL. For other reasons, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Order Cancellation

  • Orders can be cancelled within 24 hrs by contacting our customer service in writing.

  • Once the order has been shipped, cancellation is not possible, and the standard refund process applies.

Exceptions

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Products returned without prior authorization.

  • Products damaged due to misuse, improper installation, or unauthorized repairs.

  • Custom-built or made-to-order products (unless it is a manufacturing defect).
